These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Aurora Link VPN ("App", "we", "us", or "our"), an Android application that provides VPN connectivity and related features. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not download, install, or use the App.
These Terms are intended to be consistent with applicable Google Play policies, including rules on user data, VPN services, advertising, and acceptable use. They do not permit any activity that is illegal or that violates platform requirements.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum digital consent age required by applicable law in your country (for example, 16 in some jurisdictions), to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are legally allowed to use VPN services in your location.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with all applicable laws, regulations, network rules, and Google Play policies. VPN services are restricted or regulated in some countries. If VPN use is not permitted where you are, you must not use the App.
Aurora Link VPN is an Android VPN application. It uses Android's VpnService API to create a device-level virtual network interface and route supported network traffic through selected VPN servers. A VPN session starts only after you approve Android's system VPN permission prompt. You may disconnect at any time from the App or from your device settings.
The App may also provide related features such as server selection, connection status, remaining session time, IP address display, and advertising (including rewarded ads that may extend connection time). The App does not require you to create an account to use core VPN features.
Connection time, server availability, speeds, and other features may be limited. Some features may depend on advertisements, device capabilities, network conditions, location, server load, or third-party infrastructure. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, unlimited, or error-free service, and we do not guarantee that the App will hide your identity, bypass every network restriction, or meet every security requirement.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, solely for personal, lawful, and non-commercial purposes.
This license does not allow you to copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or publicly display the App, except as permitted by applicable law. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:
You are solely responsible for your conduct and for any activity carried out through your device while using the App. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these Terms, applicable law, or platform policies have been violated.
Aurora Link VPN requires Android VPN authorization. The App also uses permissions needed to run a VPN foreground service, display required notifications, manage network connectivity, and operate related features, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If required permissions are denied or revoked, some or all features may not function. You may disconnect the VPN and uninstall the App at any time.
The App may integrate third-party services, including:
Third-party data handling is governed by those providers' own terms and privacy notices. Advertising helps support operation of the App. Watching a rewarded ad does not guarantee any particular amount of additional time if the ad is incomplete, blocked, or unavailable.
Where required by applicable law, non-essential processing (such as personalized ads and optional analytics or diagnostics) is enabled only after required notice and consent. You may update available choices through in-app controls, Android permission settings, and advertising identifier controls on your device.
Withdrawing optional consent does not affect processing that is necessary to provide the VPN service you request, and it does not require us to continue providing optional features.
The App may rely on third-party SDKs, hosting providers, network carriers, advertising networks, and VPN server operators. We do not control and are not responsible for the availability, performance, content, or policies of third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
Websites, apps, and online services that you access while connected to the VPN are not operated by us and are not covered by these Terms, except as they relate to your use of the App.
The App, including software, design, trademarks, logos, text, and related content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership interest to you.
You may not remove or alter proprietary notices in the App. Feedback you submit about the App may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors; that servers will be available in every location; that connection speeds will meet a particular level; or that the App will prevent all security threats, monitoring, or third-party access. Network conditions, device settings, and third-party systems are outside our full control.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Our total aggregate liability for claims under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid to us for use of the App in the 12 months before the claim, or zero if you made no payment.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless us and our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the App if we reasonably believe there is a violation of these Terms, a legal or security risk, abuse of the service, or where required by law or platform policy.
You may stop using the App at any time by disconnecting the VPN and uninstalling the App. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will remain effective, including license restrictions, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App or these Terms from time to time, including server locations, connection time rules, advertising, and features. If material changes are made, we may provide notice through the App or other reasonable means. The updated Terms will show a revised "Last updated" date.
Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using and uninstall the App.
Your use of the App is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, shared, and protected. Please review that policy carefully. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding personal information, the Privacy Policy controls for that subject.
These Terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that may apply in your jurisdiction.
If a dispute arises, please contact us first through the method in Section 19 so we can attempt to resolve it informally in good faith.
If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision will be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable where permitted by law.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional notices provided in the App, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App and replace prior terms covering the same subject, to the extent permitted by law.
If you have questions, concerns, or feedback about these Terms or Aurora Link VPN, please contact us through the developer contact option on the App's Google Play Store listing, or through any in-app support or feedback option that may be available in Settings.
We will review requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.
